Help needed. I went to use my Disco 3 today and it struggled to start (wouldn’t rev until after a minute or so) the battery light did come on but went off again. After it did rev it had a lot of smoke front the exhausts and oil came out of them. I trued moving it but it will not move and feels like the hand break is stuck on although it isn’t as this realised and I can hear the hand break going on and off when I put it on. Any advice??

Manual/auto?
Wont be oil from exhaust. will be condensation mixed with the diesel soot, they smoke like trains if been stood for some time.

Is it trying to move, ie lurching? or just revving freely if in neutral?
Could still be handbrake issue, ie shoes stuck to drum.

Weak batteries cause all sorts of issues, on newer cars, and os pretty much the first port of call with electrical issues.

If it’s coughing out clouds of black smoke you probably have an egr problem, if it hasn’t been used for a week or more I expect the brakes are stuck to discs
