Having problems with timing being out on my v8 disco, someone has said it may be the low tension lead anyone able to point me in the direction of where this is....

Timing without a timing light is a waste of time, you need to check advance mechaism is free by gently turning rotor arm and it should return.

Check vac unit operates as well then check year for befor tdc setting six degrees btdc won't be far out.

done timing, cap, dizzy, spark plugs, leads, rotor arm, coil, ignition module. just been told it could be the low tension lead. Timing was setup with a timing light so is correct to TDC
