Disco trouble

Hoping someone can help me. My Disco TD5 W reg is leaking in, not sure where! Anyway, the water that leaks in drains through the panel where the seat belt comes out on the drivers side, bit crap really. Put it this way, I thought one of the kids had emptied a bottle of water over me

I've never seen your Disco before.....but I bet you have 2 sunroofs?!
It's perfectly 'Natural' !!

Could be sunroof seals.....or the drain tubes blocked/split or the actual Frame of the sunroof....you can try siloconing the plastic frame to the roof that sometimes solves it....
Do a search...loooads on here about it!

Sun roofs leak on Discoverys,fact. I used duck tape to seal mine yes you cant use the sun roof but its better than it leaking,oh by the way my rear door glass leakes,my door handles stick,fuel overflows when the tank is full,other than that its ok however it has done 62.000 miles so I suppose i cant expect anything else.

Well all of the points noted above, been there throughout the years often its a case of taking down the roof lining and wetting it. If you stick a hose on it at full pelt its gona get flooded and leak so try and get a fine spray over it.

Once you find it use the stuff for bonding windows in, its permanant but great, silicone aint much use.

Haven't opened mine for the last 8 years.

Crap has sealed it over time. :crazy:

same mine dont leak but when you slame the doors the front one bounces enginnering at its best

Well dont 'Slame' the doors then!!!

Not had chance to slam the doors yet, never know though, I am a women, but then again, prefer my disco than a bloke at the mo. doesn't give me any ****, unreliable with its problems but great under the seat. lol!

you must try slaming the doors never no might cure your leak

dry the sunroofs out , then rivet & bond chequer plate sheets over them

You have a point....I prefer to 'Slame' them though! It will either cure it....or make it worse, knowing my luck it will be the last of the two!

fair shout women love there sun roofs though

But if we did would we have the chance to use these vehicles to their advantage, leaks or not? lol

umm not very often thats why we own land rovers there more fun when its wet my rear cross member doesnt enjoy it though

Would love to post some pics, not only having trouble with my disco but also can't get any pics to upload onto this thing. Quite annoying, can anyone help? Makes a change from having Land Rover probs lol!

dont worry about the disco she'l be fine
as for pics go to your own page then quick links,edit profile then profile picture something along those lines thats how i do must be a quicker way though

They tend to be too big, need to download that photobox program thingy and resize em.
