Make your own to suite just how you want to store stuff. but remember, you do need to be able to get at the rear of the light clusters! (I removed the 2 little seats)

hmm,b&q for some mdf i think,i intend to take the jump seat's out too and try and store a jerry can or two in there space if poss would have prefered somthing in steel though to ease fitting and securing to the body.

you can always bolt it through the boot floor if you want to, although I've not had any problems with it, mind you, it does fit like a glove, and was put together in place.
the stuff on top does get extra toggy straps to tie it down, but i've been using the spade in the snow recently. I'm thinking of putting "D" loops on the top to attach straps to etc.
where the jump seats were, make ideal places for flasks and butties etc.

On the face of it, it's a good idea but you'll find that the plastic boxes go brittle after a while and break, not to mention that the lids become a nuisance when you're getting stuff out etc. better off using B7Q tool bags or similar for the tools etc, and smaller plastic boxes for small spares, bulbs etc, that won't be opened very often and can be tucked away at the back of the compartments.
But what you've done shows that you don't need to buy fancy cages etc, you design what you want and make it yourself for a few pounds.

:D that was my reaction too red :D how the hell can they justify those kinda price's.

any way i might have found a supplier of the stuff i want will keep you informed all!!

I've found someone that sells full extension drawer runners with a max load of 150kg and there's a fabrication place near me that makes filing cabinets, shelving units and metal parts bins Gonna get a price to make me a drawer and make me own for a fook of a lot less, than those rip off thieving arrogant lying bastids are sell theirs for.

£629 for a fooking drawer FFS

that's the kind of idea i have'see i'm fitting internal security grill's on the rear window's and as we all know there's alot of wasted space above the load cover that can be used so i want to try and utilise it if i can.

wel after i smashed my rear windows out i put some plasma cut sheets in there still need to cover the load compartment in chequer plate to tidy it up and get a dog guard to make it more secure
