I'm thinking about doing the camel cut on my disco rear arches to give me a bit more tyre clearance by doing this will it be a problem when I come to mot it lee
 
Non structural so I can't see any reason for it to fail. Why not go to your local mot station and explain what your going to do and ask if they would fail it.

Ye I didn't think it would come into mot its just a friend of mine hew is a mechanic sead he wasn't sure if it would come into it cus of it being a sharp edge just thought I would post on here see what ppls thoughts was but ye I'll have a nip down to my local mot station tomorrow. Lee
 
shoulnt fail as its not pertruding, however just go to scrappers get an old door seal vut off the spongy bit and use the other bit to cover it if there are any issues
 
Right I just spoke to my local mot station he sead it will be OK on mot so there's my next job to do along with new rear discs lol
 
I cut my rear arches today and it turnd out better than I thought I'm well Impressed with it I used a jig saw to do it in the end and a file to finish it of my rear disc kit arrived today so that's somthing else for me to do lol
 
Ye I have been looking at them and I would like to fit some do you no if they are easy enough to fit on a 5 door
