Disco II tyres!!

Hello everyone,

I am a landy zone virgin so go easy on me!

I have a disco 2, (2000 'S' model). It has just had a 2" lift and will be getting a winch bumper very shortly.
I am hoping to get some Cooper discoverer ST's on her but what size...??!!

...265/75 16 - some people have said they will fit fine and I have seen pictures of them fitted.
Others have said I will need spacers, extended brake cables, they will rub, affect gearing and prop shaft etc etc! To what extent is any of this an issue?
I know I will be fine with 245/75 16, but I want as much ground clearance as I can get.
Someone also suggested 235/85 16 as per a defender. Any opinions...?

Any help, advice or suggestions would be very much appreciated as the chances are you guys have either done something like this or no someone who has.

I have 265/75/16 with 2" lift and they fit fine the only problem i had was they caught the radius arms a little. no big issue tho. 265/75/16 will be fine.

Thanks for the reply. Did you do anything to combat the rubbing?
