sorry folks totally agree with maddock could'nt have changed donut on prop as there isn't one so god knows why i thought i had. it was late evening after a long stressful day! will try the noisy wing suggestion but never noticed the noise unless moving. and seems to be more front central. got a mate to drive today whilst i sat at back of car. alot quieter back there so if replacing diff dont work i'll just move steeering wheel. pretty certain it either box or diff so heres hoping its the diff.

finally got round to making a start on axle swap friday only to find the bolts holding radius arms to axle had attached themselves to the bushes. so had to carefully cut them off then fit new bushes. then had to bolt up to old axle again so we could get the broken down coach over pit.(only problem using works facilitys, company vehicles get priority) so finally changing axle tomorrow. however definetly convinced its the diff making noise aswent down motorway again last night and found noise to be substancially quieter since fresh radius arm bushes fitted. old ones were extremely worn so werent insulating much.
