Well the Disco was collected today and my mate Tom will be the new owner of a very fine Disco 1 200tdi.
Finally sorted out the fuel running back to the tank problem (I think) ....one of the banjos was loose on the injectors which would have allowed air in and hence the fuel would run back to the tank, put some new leak off pipes on as well just in case. Why didn't I do that two months ago??
Very sad to see it go, never let me down and been used and abused for about a year on towing jobs, shopping, trips out etc etc.
Just passed her MOT with just a new No plate and a fuse, cant say fairer than that, sorry Tom but didn't get time to clean her out propper but the bodywork came up a treat with a good scrub and wash and wax.
I know she's gone to a good home and will be well looked after so not unduly worried but will miss the old girl.
Still,,,,,,,,,, got a 90 to play with now so can't be all bad eh
