Yo Guys this morning, doing the morning shopping run this morning with my missus, stopped at a roundabout and an 300 tdi disco with lift suspension and etc pulled along aside me and I was admiring it :D and then to my well trained eye I saw he has a new galvanised chassis!!!

brand new I thought they didn't do them??? if they did I will buy one for mine and do it up anyone knows?? where to get the chassis from ? cos I understand disco do 100 inch etc and there is no 100 inch galvanised chassis 100 inch??:D :)

Somone was doing Rangie Chassis that were bead blasted and galvanised dipped they were only about 600 quid aswell I think on Ebay a while ago. Jai

Aye I agree with u that the body is the problem yes it was deffo galvansied chassis not silver hammerite paint can tell the difference I was talking and apparently a friend of my dad who is also 4x4 nut and he got a disco on range rover chassis so maybe that is what he did put his disco body on range rover ga,avnsied chassis I wonder how much work is involved to adapt and what is kept from rangie and what is kept from disco like props, gearbox etc and will 200tdo disco engine fit into rangie chassis without modfications etc

I think Richard's were advertising them a while back in a couple of mags? Or where they the Challenge spec ones?

wasnt one of the landy magazines running an article a month or 2 ago about a rebuild using a galvanised disco chassis ?

i am sure there is a company doing them now although it may be in NI

I will have to try and dig it out
