I've decided to start the thread again. This time with the correct title and more info.
A problem has arisen with my '92 3.5ltr V8 petrol Disco (no surprise there then).
The fuel gauge and/or relay, and/or sender unit is acting up and has started to show the 'low fuel' light when over 1/2 full, and the relay clicks at the same time as the engine misses a beat. This seems to happen more on right hand bends than left, and seems to right itself when going in a straight line again(this is generally but not always the case and could be a coincedence). The fuel pump is about 18 months old and I am wondering if it is faulty or if the relay needs changing. I am hoping that there is not a prob with the wiring as that could be very time consuming and expensive. On a positive note, this is just about the only problem I have had with the disco in the 4+ yrs that I have had it, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much.
Any ideas or clues anyone?
