disco flashers flashing

hi. i just bought a disco 3 and when i park up and lock it the hazard warning lights flash several times (keep reading) then stop (as they should) BUT after a few mins they'll start flashing again and then again. not sure how long this goes on for cause i gets bored watching, the horn don't sound, any suggestions greatfully recieved (thinks i might regret that)

There's got to be a big BUT to that, i just can't think of one right now

have you checked that your alarm sounder actually works , the extra flashing may be your alarm going off due to a fault , to check your alarm open bonnet and hold down the alarm bonnet switch , lock car with fob wait ten seconfds and take finger off under bonnet switch , ...flashers should go off and horn should sound ...

The BUT is that the indicators don't work, knew there was one,

just tried that and the sounder was disconected, connected it back and the lights still flash and no sounder........

Sorry for the slight delay!!!!!!!! i did try as you suggested, reconnected the sounder which didn't make any diff, for about an hour, then the hazards flashed AND the sounder went off, SO faulty door switch???? if so how do i find which one? if not what else???????? THANKS
