Disco 58 HSE Tailgate/Boot Wont open makes release noise

Hi I have a 58 Plate Disco that will not open the Tailgate/Boot it makes the clicking release noise but does not do what it supposed to do.

Pressed the to Lock / Unlock buttons in the cab but to no avail.

Is there a release inside the boot area that will open it for me

Or any other info that would help me

Have checked the handbook, will have a look at mine.

It says that press both the master unlock and lock buttons together for 3 seconds will release the upper tailgate.

If you open the tailgate several times in a short period of time, without the engine running, the lock is disabled for 1 minute to protect the battery, this could be the problem.

ok thanks will try that did press them but probably not for 3 seconds

any manual releae in boot please advise anybody

No manual release, as far as I know.
