I've just bought a non runner D4, it starts virtually straight away then dies, won't even rev up. Anyone had this before? As if it's a fuel issue or fuel management.

Non so far, only just got it home. I am thinking perhaps it's the electric fuel pump which I'm guessing may be in the fuel tank. My first check would be to switch on the ignition and listen to the sound of the pump running.

You can also measure the current for the pump across the pump relay. A failed pump will give very low Amps. Normally a healthy LP pump should be about 8 Amps of current consumption.

You can also put an OBD2 reader on it and look at codes and the live data for clues as to any issues.
I'm assuming it's the crankshaft breaking TDV6?

I will check the pump before removing the tank. It is the 3 litre V6. Don't think there are any lights on in the dash. Battery is a bit low at the moment so I've got it on charge at the moment.
