I'm having trouble with brake judder.
I've had pads and discs replaced but still juddering. Any suggestions welcomed Judi

hi Judi and welcome

may i ask

1) what speed does the brakes judder happen at , or doesn’t matter ////
2) were the new pads and discs , genuine or aftermarket ones
3) what year
4) auto, manual ,

5) if u drive very slowly and gently touch the brakes do u get a knocking noise from the front

u may also be better to posting in the discovery section, more of us to see this question

https://www.landyzone.co.uk/forum/land-rover-discovery.8/

have u had chance for a diagnostic reader to have been plugged in yet plse

thks

Thank you for coming back to me
I will post the ? In the disco section when I find how to.
Car is 2013 auto.
The parts are genuine LR parts and the garage I use is very reputable.
Haven't tried going slow and breaking but will
Neither have I to my knowledge had diagnostics done, but presumably the garage would have done that.
Thanks Judi

hi

put a link above for u , will take u to the discovery section, just a lot people will see it then

reason of gently touching ur brakes at 5-10mph is to see if there’s a knock, which can indicate worn bushes

good that there all genuine parts , may i ask assume the garage hasn’t got any idea of why the brakes are juddering and that’s why they replaced with new discs and pads to try and cure the issue , have u advised them the brakes are still juddering

when u get the juddering , is it just through the brake pedal or steering wheel as well plse

u would hope they plugged a diagnostic reader in, but never like to assume, lol
