Disco 3 suspension amber light aaarrrrhhhh!

Hi guys, PLEASE HELP
New here, so not sure how this works but.....
Have disco 3, love it, hate it...
Current issue.. Suspension on first start up seems fine, no lights on, will go up but not down till I drive off up to speed, then lowers. Then after a few minutes the amber light comes on.
Have done loads of homework and still confused, took to garage how found error code 42, and said need new style compressor and solenoid, blah blah..
Many others have said replaced these Still an issue. Just fancy a 1k bill for now reason. Happy to fit and repair myself if nec.
Checked fuses, does not lower overnight, once on amber light stays on till turned off, no other error codes, hitachi compressor, anything else?

Think it will be a sensor on one of the wheels

Wow that was quick, hope that's all it is, I'll check them tonight.

Finally got round to checking cleaned out and checked connection on all wheel sensors and still have amber suspension light up on dash.

It does sound like a height sensor but you won't find the fault just by looking unless it is a corroded connector or broken wire, You need to get it on a data logger so yo can see the sensors working. Plus if it is a sensor after you fit a new one it will need calibrating.

Could be the air drier on the compressor that's absorbed as much water as it can and is restricting airflow.
