Hi
I have got Disco 3 TDV6 54 plate

Last week it lost power when I was overtaking a lorry. Pulled in to lay by & turn off, then start it again 1st time & it pulled like a train again in all gears. The next day it took about 5 mins to start & had no power again & it cleared when it got warm & it start running well again with all power back. Got home & heard the electric fuel pump in tank screaming. So tank off & cleaned fitter on the pump & replaced main fuel fitter which both was dirty. Started & ran ok for about 3 mile than no power again. Read it with a diagnostic machine & it came up with 'Injector valve pressure too high' so replace high pressure fuel pump. The power is back now & again. Have read it again & it still coming up with 'Injector valve pressure too high'. Have got a new electric fuel pump to go in this week to see if sort it.

If anyone got any ideas it would be very grateful

Mums golf had a s simlar fault, fuel pressure to low was hers, it wasn't it was the sensor reading it, maybe check the values on the sensor or do they have a pressure regulator,

The pressure regulator is in the high pressure pump & it not a serviceable item. I have disconnect the fuel pipe to the filter which come from the high pressure pump & it came up with injector pressure to low so going to get a genuine filter to see if that sort it
