Does the D3 self-level if you leave it overnight? So if a corner had a leak would the whole car drop or just the corner? If it does self-level how can you disable it? Is there a delay timer relay like there is on the P38?

Cheers,

J

PS. Garage diagnostics says rear right height sensor acting up but the behaviour is more like weak compressor. That leads to the thought it might be feeding a leak so best test for leaks before going further.

hi

yes the suspension will self level every 6 x hours, so if there is a leak on one corner and over time it will keep dropping to that lower level

in the D3 u first put the suspension into off road height

pull fuse F26 and leave it for 24 hours , as this disables the self levelling system u will then see what corner is dropping

that's the basis of how to start finding a problem

faulty or incorrectly adjusted height sensor would show one corner out all the time with the engine running

easily tested by measuring the clearance on each wheel

let me know how u get on , hope that some use to u

Perfect, cheers. He's going to drop it round sometime this week and take my P38 for his holiday as he doesn't trust the D3. Old technology is the best, eh? ;-)
