Dear all
I am new to this forum and wondered if any of you would be able to help me please?
I have a Y reg disco 2 and she starts on the click before she is supposed to and the starter motor keeps running and the only way I can turn her off is to quickly remove the relay switch!
FYI the battery is new, the starter motor has been replaced (although the solenoid was completely full of water and gunked up! now clean) the ignition switch has also been replaced as has the relay. My very good friend John is kindly helping me as he also has a Disco 2. Tbh we are at a loss as to where to go next and I really need my vehicle.
After perusing previous posts, John is going to check the solenoid wire tomorrow, just in case that is the issue however; we both feel that the problem is from the fuse box to the relay.
We are located in the New Forest, Southampton side just in case anybody on here lives this way or know somebody that does that can help?
