What do you mean by "dumps the air"? As in the suspension dropping
onto the bump stops or a "phissssst" a few tens of seconds after
switching off but the suspension remains up. Mine does the latter and
when I asked it's "normal" behaviour. I just wish they'd mention all
these odd noises in the User Manual.

The SLS completely deflates when in "limp-home" mode. I would suggest
you take the vehicle to a Land Rove specialist with Autologic or T4
diagnostics who can read the FAULT memory for the SLABS ECU.
Typically, a faulty height sensor will cause the vehicle to go into limp
home mode.

The sls drops right on to the stops but like i said it only happens appx 1
in 10 times the other 9 times its fine, seems to eratic to be a major prob.

It could be a faulty sensor, but I agree with the other poster, you
really need to get it into a well-equipped independent specialist to
find out.
