Hi I have looked through literally hundreds of threads for this, but still not sure of what I can do.

I have a Discovery 2 2000 plate td5. Left it for a week whilst away with work. On returning the keyfob wont open the doors or seemingly do anything. The Disco only has one key point on the drivers door and this seems jammed. I can put the key in but it will not turn at all. This may be as its never used as I always use the key fob to unlock it.

I replaced the battery in the fob. No joy.
Called out the RAC. They checked that it had enough battery by connecting to the starter motor. Yes seemingly ok.

The guy tried lots of things including trying to get the bonnet release catch free and trying to get into back door. Nothing working so far.

I can't get into the car, or the engine bay.

Does anyone have any suggestions that can help me get in? At my wits end!

Yep, called out the RAC. They came but couldn't get into it. Suggested a locksmith. Just wondered if there was anything else I can do before they can come tomorrow? cheers!

Are you sure that the ignition lock hasn't been changed at some time and therefore the key you have is the wrong key for the door.
Have a chat with a Landrover main agent and quote your chasis number or show them the log book they may be able to help you out if this is the case. Of course it could just be a buggered door lock!!!
