Disco 2 LED headlights - can it be done?

The title says it all. Can you convert a late D2 to LED headlights? I live in Canberra, Australia so I am either trundling around the city or taking my life in my hands at night against kangaroos with a deathwish and they can do a LOT of damage to a car. Intention would be to leave the dipped beam standard halogen and fit LEDs to the full beam.

Thoughts?

Buy a lightbar, or spots ?

It's doable but why? The post face headlights look nice but are expensive and are easier to break.
just get some quality LED bulbs to throw in there.
