Disco 2 Electrical Gremlins

Hi all. I've just joined the forum and already I have a problem.....The Hazard warning lights on my 1999 Disco 2 TD5 have started coming on when I turn the ignition on, there is also a "clunk" from the c/l as if its trying to unlock all the doors! From what I have read it sounds like it could be the BCU (thinks its been in a crash, puts the hazards on and unlocks all the doors?). I have taken the indicator fuse out and the car starts OK and is otherwise driveable and locks and unlocks OK, but not having indicators is a bit of a pain (especially as winter approaches). Can anybody shed some light on this?

Diagnostics would be a good idea.

Aye - nanocom, Hawkeye or other dedicated LR diagnostics - should come up with the faults. WELCOME!
