Morning all, this is my first ever post so please be bear with me!!
I have just bought a disco 2 with air suspension and was told it had a leaking spring, this did not bother me as have changed them on other peoples disco's and know it's an easy job, so...changed both bags (used genuine Dunlop) but it still sits down on one side, no leaks I can hear or see but if I listen very hard to the compressor it has a VERY faint ticking/clicking noise which is fast and constant, guess what I am getting at is can the pressure creep back through a compressor? Thanks

Pressure can feed back through the compressor. If the bags were leaking, maybe the compressor is shagged and not making enough pressure. However, if it's just down one side and the compressor runs constantly a leak is most likely. Otherwise a height sensor. I don't know the Disco in detail, but all air suspension is basically much the same.

Thanks for reply, compressor it's self seems to work fine as it cuts straight in and pumps the suspension up with ease, also would presume if it's a height sensor it wouldn't come up when fired up? Think possibly the solenoid in the compressor is sticking or leaking etc, might have to strip it down but any ideas on whether this is a good idea or should I just buy a replacement?! Thanks

Just read my original post and my wording isn't great!!!! It sits down when not running over a period of poss 3-4 hrs, the noise I can hear at the compressor is when engine is off.
