Not sure if this is the right place (Please let me know if it's not!) but here goes.
I have bought a Disco 1 just for the 300tdi lump & G/box to do a series engine swap. I haven't removed it yet, but was hoping to recover some of the costs by selling off other bits I don't need. The interior is toast (has been used as a dustbin & subsiquent home for rats!) but things like front doors, all the glass etc are ok. SO, if there are any bits you want then ask away! I am based near sleaford in lincolnshire, so you can either come and remove parts or I can perhaps post small items. Please PM if you want to get in touch. Regards, Clayton.

There is a "for sale" section on the forum but you can't post on there until you have posted a fair number of meaningful posts.
in other words proved you haven't just come on here for free advertising!

As the above is just a statement of the intention of what you intend to do with a scrap disco would have thought you best bet was to place any disco items you have on eBay or similar, at least you can photograph and give a description. Unfortunately 300 series body panels are very common on eBay, its the obsolete parts that are needed and theres’s a few of them.
Also for this post I would suggest u delete your email address and request u r contacted via a PM.

Thanks for the advise, I have revised the post as you suggested. I am still new to the forum, so have only made a handful of posts & it was not my intention to just get "free advertising" as Stanleysteamer mentioned. I am sure there will be more posts to follow once I start to delve deeper into my project. I just thought it would be better to let the guys on the forum have first dibs at any parts, before putting anything on Fleabay.
