Disco 1 Front pads

Hi all, just got back in from a good 5 hours dicking about in amongst the trees and wet stuff, had a cracking day but on the way back had to slam on pretty hard for a ****ting Polish driver, and it seems to have ripped off the last few remaining mm of brake friction lining on the front offside inner pad.

I knew they were due replacing and had in mind to get some ordered up from Paddocks along with a few other bits i need sending over, when you have to pay european delivery charges its worth getting a few bits at once, but alas its a needed now type job

so i have the option of heading into Warsaw tomorrow and going to the Land Rover Dealership and parting with at least an arm and possibly a leg or two and getting LR genuine pads or trying a few local factors, but as my Polish is **** and anything with a green oval over here seems to to be fairly rare and expensive, my question is..........

are the front pads on the non vented discs for the disco1 300 tdi peculiar to only that model and make of motor or do they fit other things too?

oh and i lost my UK number plate in 3 foot of water:doh::doh:

I just done some googling and the only other vehicles I could find using the same front pads are Range Rovers and "CARBODIES FX Fairway 2.7 TD" , a black cab I think!

I managed to get a set of Bosch ones locally for the princely sum of 195 zloty (4.6 to the £) so swapped over the fronts (easiest pad change ever) thought the rears would survive until my next paddocks order but they are grinding so it looks like i will be off to order those also tomorrow, lets see just how far they can get my pants down for these!!
