After making the mistake of buying my previous Disco 1 I have replaced it with a lot better one,
Green one has been broke to swap the parts over that are good.

Bought the silver one about a month ago now and done nothing but enjoy driving it. This is it as I bought it

Tonight made a start of fitting bits & bobs. Wheels fit so I can sell the others, forgot how much they catch with standard bumper, rear bumper replaced with the steel one and fitted the D4D wheel carrier.

Towbar removed, which I'm thinking of modifying for quick fitment if ever needed. I got a lot on but next week I want to fit snorkel and lift it more. Fit longer brake lines too.

Tonight

Nice to see you're making progress on it!

Are you planning on driving round with them wheels like that? - local plod won't be happy about wheels sticking out of the body!

Ordered arches today so they should be here Friday hopefully. Need to change bumper at weekend, also do suspension & brake lines

I quite like that cheeky winch hidden away there too.... Trouble is I think I like it more when u can see them! Would also like to see some pics of how it is mounted tho :)

Coming on nicely there.

Will follow this closely.

Slightly off subject but out of interest, do you have any more pics/details of the 110 Hicap i see in the background of your first pic?

We also have a Hicap as well as a Disco so always interested in how others outfit their vehicles.

Thanks.

Finished shooting todY and managed to get a couple of hours in.

Snorkel fitted, winch bumper, winch, got it all wired up properly. Made a bracket to put isolator switch in. Just need to finish of t'other side of flexi arches.

Spent last night fitting rest of the arches & longer brake lines to the front. Also got round the ABS wiring issue so it's all good.
