Hey guys i just joined this wonderful forum. I am in need of some front discs and pads for my RR Vogue SE 2007 3.6 tdv8 with Brembo brakes, are the discs still the standard diameter at 360mm i was not sure if the disc is a different size or not as some car part sites list different sizes. Cheers.

Search for advanced factors, she lists all the part number/sizes etc.

Pretty sure they are nearer 390mm, definitely not standard fare,
pads different anol.

Edit. I stand corrected, they ARE 360mm.

Here you go... nice wee upgrade.

Watch out when removing the callipers fixing bolts , they are steel whilst the callipers themselves alloy and thus can strip the threads when undoing, although they can be heli-coiled but it's a pain in the hoop.

If you are lucky then someone may have lubed the threads with copper slip grease,
if they come out ok but are not greased then do it upon refitting,

also, do not go daft tightening them, perhaps find the correct torque setting if you don't have 'the feel' or one of those calibrated clicky elbows.

You could always take the wheel off and measure to see which is correct. Eurocrapparts only list one size.

Hi mate thanks for your reply i will be honest, i am too lazy to take the wheel off im afraid. ;)

Thanks for your reply yeah your right they are 360mm, i was able to cross reference the parts and find what i needed on ebay, Borg and Beck - Discs, Pads, Sensor for £107 all bought individually. Thanks for the link but to be honest im not looking to upgrade my brakes as my budget is tight also those parts are for a sport model. :)

Thanks for the advice on the calliper bolts i hope i dont get these problems, i will use wd40 where possible. I think i have the feel as you mention lol, i usually just tighten everything by the feel unless it is something that requires accurate torqueing. I ordered copper grease too and thanks for the tips. ;)

Hi mate thanks for your reply, that site was very useful indeed because it lists all the part numbers like you said, i was able to cross reference the parts and find what i needed on ebay, Borg and Beck - Discs, Pads, Sensor for £107 all bought individually. ;)

@myfirstl322 says possibly 390 with Brembo's NOT 360 as you think. If you can't be arse'd taking the wheel off make sure they are refundable :D
I was going by the listing details which I assumed confirmed 360mm (14 inch"), although on a different listing they said 325mm...lol

I just remember them being fookin' huge (and very heavy) on my SC (same kit as TDV8's).

Make your mind up 390 or 360 :D:D:D:D

I know the rears for mine come in 2 sizes depending on VIN 5A or 6A.

But that makes 210 :D:D

That is a decent price.

Hi guys just jumping on the thread, I've got standard calipers on the front of my 2010 Overfinch and looking to upgrade to the Brembo 4 pots, would I be foolish in thinking I can just unbolt the old calipers and the 4pots will bolt onto the existing caliper cradle (once the discs are changed from 325 to 360's) of course?

Sounds unlikely:rolleyes:
