hi

each time i select reverse my mirrors dip, which would be alright if when i than selected 1st gear they then returned to where they should be but no such luck so i tried the memory button on the seat the mirrors did move up but not to the correct position, so my thoughts are rather than them dipping in the first place when i select reverse is there some way of preventing this?

No guarantee that MEMORY DIP OFF will actually stop the randomly dipping mirror thing though - it certainly doesn't on mine - it still goes off and does its own thing as and when it feels like it!

I live with it though - its one of the foibles that makes us love our Rangies...

Besides, if its just that going wrong, thats a bonus!

hi its not a big problem its just one of those things that go part and parcel with Land Rover ownership

Mine behave like this too! Don't particulary want to switch them off though!

hi
its all down to personal preference, i find the mirrors are big enough to be able to set them so i can see far enough behind and whats along side me, also when i have a trailer on tow and need to reverse its better to have a view of what the trailers doing just in case it doesn't what to go where its supposed to

i take it you have found and fitted new seats,
