Hi, has anyone fitted a drain plug designed by Difflock, it replaces the original plug and once fitted you can adjust the flow and direction of the oil when changing it. I just wanted to know if they are reliable and if they last whilst off road.

Seems like a bril idea!

Cheers Peter

To be fair to difflock I would imagine they are pretty good, there is not much to go wrong on them, and lets face it, it your drain plug gets knocked off it gets knocked off no matter what type it is...

I have fitted one on my last service, so not yest used it. The sump plug is on the side of the sump anyway so I would imagin it would be fairly hard to knock off.

Thanks gentleman I think I am going to buy one, changing the oil is always a bastard and anything that makes the job a bit easier can't be bad.

Cheers:D

Hi guys,
I've got one on my 200 disco.

been offroading a fair few times and its still there.

makes draining the oil a doddle.
shame they dont make anything for the filter tho:rolleyes:

well worth the money IMO

Thanks clunk:) Am going to order one tonight, have you tried there vehicle ramps? are they any good? Cheers Peter

Hi Peter,
i've not tried their ramps but i did get the propshaft tool from them.
not used it yet but i've heard very good reports about it.

not really heard a bad word on any of the stuff they sell TBH.
i tend to use me trolley jack and axle stands when i'm working on mine but a set of wide ramps would be pretty useful sometimes

Thanks Clunk, nice of you to reply, some of the threads on here have been viewed so many times and don't even have one reply, I feel sorry for people that require info urgently! My two cents:D Must be the beer, I don't normally have a moan.

Cheers Peter
