Differential lock light keeps flickering

In normal sircumstances the diff light comes on when it is in diff lock. Over the last few days the light keeps flickering on. It could be my imagination but it seems to do it on bends and rounderbouts. Ive done the gear thing hi and low, back and forth but no joy. Would this light come on if the oil was low in the diff. Please help guys before something goes bang. Thanks

The wire has probably chafed through and is touching a bit of chassis or summin. Look underneath, its a wee wire that goes down to the top (ish) drivers side of the transfer box.

else the switch has turned slightly and is a bit sensitive?

The wire underneath was fine so i had to go in from the top to find the switch. Hats off to you odenne, the terminals was corroded and needed renewing. Thanks again for your help guys.
