Despite having the seal changed only a couple of months ago, it has begun to leak again. I was told that this would probably happen and that the flange might be worn and cause the seals to fail? If this is true, what diff flange will I need for my 12 spline axle? Are they all 24sp where the flange is because I can only seem to find 24sp parts? It could be the breather but I doubt it would cause the leak to come here, normally that would be at the cap / drive flange end of the axle?

I have so many leaks now it's unreal lol :D

At least I know it's not empty

you will see scoring and pitting around were seals runs on flange if its poor ,dont push seal in too far other wise it wont seal

there are only 2 seals depending on flange mudshield, seal frc8220 for earlier mudshield frc8154 ,and seal ftc5258 for later mudshield ftc5317

there are 2 flanges one with 4 splines 236632 and the other fine splines frc3002 , there is kit stc4858 which has longer flange and so you then dont use the spacer that usually goes on just before flange

OK, I did find one eventually. I will wait till I get round to changing it and see for sure then order. I'm not entirely sure what axles are on my 90, some people have told me they're RRC but who knows... Guess I'll check the numbers one day!
