Different TD5 dash boards?

Correct. 1999, 2000, 2001 and early 2002 models have a similar dash set up to the 300tdi. Late 2002 - early 2007 have the larger center console style dash.

I have an option on buying a new bulkhead for my 300tdi (which also has a knackered dash)
Bulkhead is described as nice, and comes complete with dash. Its the early one though, which, going by your figures, would date it 1999-2001 sort of time.
Im concerned about a landrover part surviving that long without rusting....
Maybe i should just wait until a later dash turns up - i guess the center console is probably useful.

The console is nice, though I replaced mine with something more modular. Mines a late 2002 and apart from some extremely minor rust in the pass footwell im pretty sure its rock solid. Though always best to go and check in person!
