Where abouts is the reciever?

Its under the instrument cover.

Theoretically it can't be the reciever as its the immobilization that's not disarming. You can unlock it with the key but the Immobilizer should still turn off when you try to start it. Or am I wrong?

Thats true. The signal goes from the receiver till the CCU and from CCU to the ECU that will decode immo code.

So i tthink CCU is a good place to start. I will do some investigating to see if there is anyone round here that can recode them. They are cheap enough on ebay
