No you will have to change the complete diff and not really needed unless you are doing so very aggressive off roading

In theory 4pin is stronger, in reality p38 axle is so heavy duty 2pin is more than adequate.
2 pin has one set of spider gears with a pin between them
4 pin has two sets with two overlapping pins (below)

Also note that front and rear diffs are not interchangeable.
