If you're concerned, go for exactly what RAVE demands. Texaco Multigear 75W 90R. You can still buy it.


Again, I think you're over thinking this. It's a very standard final drive in a 1980's designed 4x4. If you were running a 40 tonne lorry, or a locomotive or something I'd say go for exactly what they recommend, but you're not! The spec sheet for Texaco Multigear states it's for applications requiring GL4 and GL5, so this apprears to be the Liqui Molly equivalent...


I have been using this semi-symthetic 75w 90 for 100,000 miles and can report no problems...
