Diff lock stuck on

Hi All,
I have a Series 3 Lightweight and was out yesterday on green lanes. Put the diff lock on but it seems to have got stuck on. You can push it down on the spring about 10-15mm but it is not coming back up. Is there any release on these or do people have any suggestions?

A Series 3 doesn't have diff lock.

I suspect you have got stuck in 4wd High range. If you move the small stick from high to low a couple of times, the yellow button will pop up.

Ideal thanks for that I will have a go tonight,

Shows how green I am on these things. Out of interest then, when you put it into low range does that automatically put it into 4wd?

Small stick in low range is full time 4wd low.

Small stick in high range is 2wd, except if the yellow button is pushed down and stays down.

I don't think I have ever used 4wd high range in 40 years of driving Series.
On road it isn't a good idea.
Off road, I never go fast enough to get out of low range.

I could do with a more daily runner so that is more what I am looking for.
