Some more eye candy :D My new front diff guard fitted today. It is a galvanised one from Paddocks but I decided to paint it black to smarten it up a bit (Why is it that every time I buy a galvanised part from England the galvanising finish is so rough???)

I got someone to lend a hand fitting it as these things are tight! With a combination of brute strength, a crowbar and the good old dishwashing liquid ;) we got it fitted. I'm quite pleased with the result.

As you can see from the pictures of the diff, it had taken a knock in the hands of a previous owner so I thought it would be prudent to put on a guard as the diff casing metal has probably been weakened from the impact.

I just had a proper look at the photo of the guard - even in the photo you can see the rough finish of the galvanising under the paint:p
