Hi all..god to be here.
Have 2000 TD5.
Am trying to change the oil, but cant undo the sump nut.
Am sure its 17 mm but wont loosen.
Areal pain.
Any ideas???

what sort of tool kit have got, use a socket and extension bar, or ring spanner a hold on with 1 hand and give it a short sharp tap with a hammer

then get hold of the bloke who used all his strength to tighten it and hit him the same way

1st thing I tried, but appears to be welded. Damn thing wont budge

if using a socket put the presure on the bar and jerk the tensin on the bar
