I removed the compressor and air con rad as they were both bust. Would this affect the weighted balance of the engine having the compressor off?

Sorry forgot to say two faults are now persistent, needle lift sensor, going to get injector checked.

Other fault is engine speed sensor? This wouldn't be the cps would it?
Needle lift sensor, did you not have a wiring problem with that? If you rewired it did you get the polarity right? Not sure if it makes any difference.
Engine speed sensor, I would have thought that must be the CPS, possibly the adjustment is still not correct.

Yea I am sure we did re-write it same way but will have another look as all the injectors apart from 4 are the originals might just get them tested.

CPS is working as unplugged it started didnt like it so plugged back in worked so will have a look st cos gap.

Is the gap definitely 1.5mm?

If Wammers says so, it is. If #4 injector has been giving gip it is more likely to be that.

Yea could have missing pips as old cps was in pieces when pulled it out. I will removed and see if see any missing.

Assume is a massive job even with a manual box to change fly wheel?

Also front electric seats not working diagnostic tells me no communication with outstation? Fuse or something deeper?

If wammers says electrics ignore us and don’t pull your gearbox just yet ;)
If you are that willing I have no doubt you will get it going soon enough.

Easy enough to check the timing pips with a light and mirror. Should be six equally spaced set 60 degrees apart. Thinking back he did say CPS fell apart when he removed it can't think why it would do that unless it has been hit.

Its idling much better today so might just be where not run for a year and last bits of air or whatever. Will check cps pips and injector. Need to nip up two leaking fuel pipe nuts on back of pump access not great with everything in the way.
