Diesel tank drain plug

Alreet lads,

Just wondered if anyone knows what thread the drain plug is ??

need to drain the tank but aint got a drummbig enough so need to make a drain hose for it.

any idea on size ? coz ones its out thers ganna be diesel everywere if the pipe doesnt fit

Have you thought about pumping/syphoning it out through the filler hole?

Just drain the tank the same way you would the sump. Get a bucket or receptacle big enough, unscrew the drain plug and then just ease it away little by little so that you can control the flow until its coming out nice and smooth. I imagine pulling the drain plug out and trying to force a hose in is gonna make a mess. Don't forget to undo the filler cap first

Can you not get a bit of hosepipe and syphon most of it out through the filler hole

Just wait until next doors out and do it on their drive
