diesel pump

has any one in Dorset/ Hampshire got a diesel pump working or scrap for a p38 2.5 bmw engine

What's happened to your old one?

its leaking all over we have replaced the seals but its not pumping fuel to injectors we have had the block off and might of not but back right due to the bloody weather

The top is in two parts as you know but the lower top section is placed specifically in a position and there also a metal finger that needs to be jn its slot underneath or the throttle won't respond. If the section isn't aligned properly it'll affect the idling. Itay not start or run like a jetplane. Normally you need to scribe the lower top section in relation to the body.
If it is still leaking the seals may have rolled or come out on reassembly.

we are trying to repair mine on the car but lost the bit of paper that shows how we have taken it apart we have got it back together but wont start no leaks but no fuel getting to the injectors

Which parts did you remove?

Learning curves can be very expensive.

OE is about £2500 then big garage fee to fit and set it, your looking over 3G for today’s dismantling work
New seals is good though
