Diesel leak from sender unit

I have a little diesel around the sender unit, I have put in place a new seal but not entirely sure that the unit is holding in place as well as it could do. Am tempted to put some sealant around it but what sort i dunno?

No I dunno either, I'd try a non setting type fost like blue hylomar. S'pose the the best thing to do is to find out why it int holding in place sort that out and you could sort the leak out.
