Hi all and thanks for letting me join.
I have a problem with my Freelander 2 I will try to explain the problem as best as I can.
The car runs perfect until I take it above about 3000 rpm when a message comes up on the dash saying "reduced engine power" when investigating further I found the outlet from the filter to the pump was split!
So I changed the filter and everything worked okay until I took the engine above 3000 rpm when the exact thing happened again!
I've by passed the filter and the car runs fine revving well above 3000rpm but obviously I can't continue to use the car like this.Has anyone had similar problems by the way its a 2.2 diesel
Thanks.
