Haven't been around for a bit, just got released from the Hospital, recovering from a major spontaneous pneumothorax (collapsed lung for the Tratter boys), and also had a plurodesis on top of that!

Managed to borrow a mates small notebok thingy while I was interned, but it kept getting disconnected (prolly from all the elecrical intefrence from those pesky noisey beeping heart/lung machines that were keeping the whinging grumpy geriatric patients alive!) and wasnt used to it , but did manage to sneak a peak in the forums over the last week or so.

Anyways I'm house bound atm feeding myself topshelf pain killers and coughing up copius amounts of blood clotted phlegmn! (lovely stuff!)

I have stitches in my right side (where the drain tube was) and also under my right shoulder blade (the surgical plurodesis) so not that comfy sitting in a chair, or for that matter sleeping in bed!

Great to be back in my hovel surrounded by familar things and not getting barked at by militant nurses.

I know the :rulez: so heres a pic of my tube and the suction pump that kept my lung going.......... (it DID happen!)

thanks for the best wishes guys

I got some freelander therapy while I was in there, 2 of the Doc's working on me have them!!! :p

Surgeon has a 2008 TD4, black with mags, A bar etc (went passed it in the carpark when I was dischargesd), anethetists has a 2001 like mine but Blue (didnt like the colour), so we nattered about them for a bit ;)

I actually rode my Virago 750 to the Hosp (I was only feeling short of breath, and didnt know my lung had popped), so it stayed parked there until I could get my boss to ride it back to work for me. Doc's put a "Medical Staff" sticker on it so I wouldn't get a parking ticket!! :p (good on them!)

Doc's were amazed I rode it there in my condition.

Anyways thanks again for the wishes etc, I hope to get better steadily as this isn't a quick fix, and I'm trying VERY hard not to smoke!

Just came back from the Doc's (local GP)

Needed my bandages changed, cos I cant reach them

Hes pleased with the healing process so far and given me more drugs!

Had a quick look at the scar on my back (rather impressive)

Back in my hovel again using my free time to look for another place to live (upgrading) and watching daytime TV (boring!). Dusted off the Xbox and killing Germans with my sniper rifle, great fun but gets a bit tediuos after a while. Going a bit stir crazy:clock:

Life isnt that exciting atm and I cant do much, so live it up guys!
