I have had two Freelanders now and love them but l am having the same problem as l had with the last one, it cuts out on full lock when parking or reversing also starting it, its not the starter motor as l have had that checked. Today l was stuck in traffic and it cut out. I have had the matrix done. Can anyone give me some advise please.

Thanks for the response l will get that checked out. I have started using expensive diesel thought that might help.

I remember putting expensive Diesel in my wifes new car (second hand), 3 miles later some light came on which cost £150 to put out as it was some sensor had failed, add to that £60 diagnostic..... I never hear the end of it..... TOTALLY unrelated I am sure.

The problem of cutting out seems to be when on full lock either reversing or going forward when parking. Didn't cut out in traffic today. l find it hard to start first thing in the morning and when leaving work in the evening and l get a lot of smoke from the back, the smoke is not dirty looking or grey looks like white clouds, if that makes sense.
