Is there anyone near Carlisle border have any diagnostics that can reprogram my steering angle sensor? Have not been able find an affordable tool to do the task as I don’t know which can do the job. I have only 2 weeks left until I need to MOT the car and it still has the three dreaded lights due to the steering angle sensor initialisation error. I have not been given any definitive answers as to which diagnostics that can do the job at a reasonable price. my husband said he’ll get to it almost a month ago but still hasn’t found the right tool to purchase to do the job. Please can anyone help? It’s my only mode of transport to work, if I can’t get it mot’d in time, I’d have to buy a ‘crap’ banger to get me to and from work. My husband doesn’t want this to happen as we were almost killed in a little banger almost 20 years ago and just this morning, a HGV almost crushed me into the central reservation. Please, can anyone help me?
