diagnostic tool

hi all
looking at one of the latest landrover comics, on the back page see that www.bearmach are advertising a new diagnostic tool capable of clearing and resetting fault codes, which covers the p38 plus other models (wonder if it will reset my srs fault ???)

it,s based on the faultmate that blackbox solutions make,it will be locked to your chassis no. so it can only be used on your car,and if you change cars you have to pay a fee to get it unlocked,ok if you on a buget and a good selling point,i looked into it as it was apparantly to be released on the 1st of march through there dealers,but i haven,t found anyone who has it yet and at what cost,but i ended up getting a rovacom

ive got the same mag and was wondering if it was gonna be the start of a development for pc's, hope someone out there can get hold of one and reverse engineer it and port it to windows or linux!!!

i'm supprised it hasnt been done yet already!!

well i still haven,t found anywhere that is selling or will be selling this hawkeye tool,sent an email to bearmach out of interest and they don,t know much about it,when it will be in stock and what the price range would be,some help that is from a company thats splashing adds for it all over every lr magazine

write to the mag and see if they can get in touch with marketing or even the CEO
