Series 3 Diagnostic thread for different problems

I am interested in starting a thread so wonderful and helpful people of this site work together and develop a series of diagnosis steps for different problems.
What I mean is this:
A step by step diagnosis procedure for every problem for series models. This would be very helpful. I do not have much mechnical knowledge but if others would be willing to participate I would help anyway I can with development and organization of the database.
There are a lot of how to fix books but nobody has ever made such a problem finding book.
The attached diagram shows what I mean for one step. Steps follow each other till the correct diagnosis.

You can make one for one project. It will be posted here and others can make corrections or suggestions till that problem is complete.
I hope you like the idea and it works. Sine these cars are getting old and mechanics more difficult to find this will be very useful.

I would like a step by step diagnoses chart to determine why my wife gets irritable at everything I do or don't do. Today's rant is because although I helpfully filled and turned on the dishwasher last night, I neglected to include a baking tray which was hiding in plain sight.
