Just had to replace my fuel filler on my 90 defender.rotted out due to the constant build up of mud that wedges itself between tank and filler.what a rubbish design.has any one designed anything to overcome this problem.or do you just clean it after every outing.:blabla::blabla:

could try one of these RDX Fuel Filler Cap Cover/Guard DIESEL 110 Td5 2.5 NA on eBay (end time 29-Mar-11 10:03:00 BST) not sure how good they are or get some alloy plate in there (was a kit on ebay but canr find it now)

Thanks for that but mines a 90 and fillers in front of rear wheel.can't see how I could fix anything in there where mud wouldn't get through.other people must have this problem:doh:
