Well James, seamed like a good idea to me! at least you didn't tell him about the suggestion involving a highlight jack a 30 ft lye strap and some cable ties!!

Looks like there is enough interest for the 14th so it's on.
I won't be risking going down Swan Rake again but am happy to take pictures of anyone who does want to give it a go
We will go up the other side though, that's pretty tricky too but without the huge rock step!
I'll post up a meeting place and time a bit closer to the weekend but probably the Yonderman for a 10am start (so earlier if you want breakfast)

Hi ian, yondermans @10 sounds good. Iam doing nights at work now so that's spot on.

I doubt mine will be done in time....

Changing bulkhead, headgasket and the back end of my king cab all in one go... So I'll be out in December lol!!

I'm still using the bike, so about as much chance of me being there as Jesus!

Hope you've got a spare seat, bloody Disco's playing up. Will try and have it fixed by morning but think I may need a new alternator

Well, I am currently out of the game.....My Injector pump is spilling diesel out like Niagara falls. Looks like a strip down to reseal it so, I will see you when I see you folks! haha.

Oh the joys of Land rover ownership. Was only gonna fit new brake pads to the front today.:confused2:
Ended up taking the whole bloody caliper to bits to fit new pistons and seals tomorrow as my pistons were seized and pitted, doh.

Sound, I'll bring mine around for you to do on my tratter as the pads have been squealin for a week or so and I haven't got round to it

Hehehe, actually so far its been pretty straight forward, cleaned up one caliper ready for new seals and pistons from paddock tomorrow.
Only problem is iam now on nights so I think I'll only get one finished tomorrow before I need to get some kip as I want to paint em before they go back on.
If you want to bring yer truck up we can do em between us.
Bit scary really as it passed mot only a month ago, and when I went to put new pads in found 2 pistons seized in each caliper.
Gonna do the backs in a couple of weeks.
